EVERYONE EXERCISE
"Sixth Annual Run For the Health of It"
June 9--features 8K run, 5K walk and 8K wheelchair events as well as fun
runs for children ages 12 and under. The race starts at 9 a.m. at the Botsford
Center for Health Improvement, 39750 Grand River in Novi.
Registration fees are as follows (early registration
will run through May 17 and those fees are listed first): 8K run
and wheelchair race - $12 and $14; 5K fitness
walk - $8 and $10; four-person team relay
- $40 and $50; kids half-mile run (ages 8-12)
and 200-yard dash (ages 5-7) - $8 and $10.
Day-of-event registration will take place from 7 - 8 a.m. T-shirts are guaranteed
to those registered by May 17; after May 17 t-shirts are subject to availability.

Walking Club
Join the Botsford General Hospital sponsored walking club. Laurel Park Mall
(6 mile & Newburgh). Beginning 8 a.m. daily. Free blood pressure provided
by Botsford Hospital for walkers on the fourth Monday of every month.
Aerobic Weight Training for Women
A one-hour workout with emphasis on both cardiovascular fitness and muscle
strengthening. Seven week course.

Diabetes-Cize
A 10-week comprehensive exercise program for people with diabetes. Sponsored
by Health Development Network and Cardio-Care of Botsford General Hospital.
This program will help the person with diabetes to better control blood
sugar and improve cardiovascular fitness.
