Many frequently used services are covered, including virtually
any personal legal matter (excluding business and employment-related
matters), preparation of wills, powers of attorney, deeds and
other documents, representation for buying, selling or refinancing
your home, civil litigation, tenant negotiation, name change,
uncontested adoptions and guardianships and much more
Enrolling
for Coverage
You can enroll for coverage in the Legal Services Plan when you
first become eligible for benefits or during the annual core benefits
Open Enrollment period.
Employees can
apply for coverage during their core benefit open enrollment period
in the fall . The effective date of coverage will begin on January
1st 2007 for employees who enroll during open enrollment. New hires
can enroll upon becoming eligible for other Botsford core benefits
and have similar effective dates of coverage.
Group
legal plans provided by Hyatt Legal Plans, Inc., Cleveland Ohio.
In certain states, group legal plans are provided through insurance
coverage underwritten by Metropolitan Property and Casualty Insurance
Company and Affiliates, Warwick, Rhode Island.
