Botsford Health Care Continuum is host to many educational programs.

Medical Education
As a premier osteopathic teaching hospital, we have over 19 medical residency programs, as well as over 400 medical students on rotation each year.

Nursing Education
We also train nursing and allied health students on rotation from several local colleges and universities. We offer job opportunities that fit school schedules. Scholarships are also available.

EMS Training
Community EMS offers programs for aspiring emergency professionals and members of the community through their Life Support Training Institute.

Community Education
Community classes on a variety of health topics are offered at Botsford Center for Health Improvement (BCHI), our medical fitness center, and at the Total Rehabilitation and Athletic Conditioning Center located at the Botsford Center for Health Improvement. Community EMS offers CPR and First Aid classes to the community. The New Beginnings Maternity Center offers several classes, including childbirth, baby care and breastfeeding.

Library
In support of all these educational programs, our state of the art Library & Internet Services department offers an array of local and Internet databases, books, and journals. Our medical librarians are skilled in helping you find the health information you need. Our Library facility is open to the public.
