Botsford is a nationally-recognized teaching facility. We are a base hospital for the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSU-COM), Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM), and the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine (UHSCOM). House staff are considered faculty and actively participate in all facets of teaching and faculty development.

Botsford is part of Michigan's rich osteopathic tradition. This "D.O.-friendly" environment features 32 AOA accredited health facilities and 15 osteopathic teaching hospitals. Today, more than 3,600 D.O.s practice in Michigan.
