Number
of Urologists on Staff: 11 Program Description: The aim of this program is to provide the necessary training and education to osteopathic physicians who desire to prepare themselves for the practice of Urological Surgery. The program provides the requirements for eventual certification in Urological Surgery by the American Osteopathic Association through the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. The duration of the training period is five years. Subsequent to internship, one or two years of training shall be in General Surgery. It is intended that the resident be well qualified to handle Urological Surgical practice upon completion of his/her training program. |
