Graduate Medical Education - Resident Programs | Medical Students MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION A. Stipend The stipend is based on a PGY incremental level. Please refer to the CASPR Directory of Podiatric Residency Programs corresponding to the year of application (under Botsford General Hospital). Additional benefits of employment include health, dental and malpractice insurance coverage. Vacation and continuing education seminars are also offered. Set CME Stipend each year. B Professional Liability Insurance Coverage Professional liability insurance are a benefit for the podiatric residents. C. Hospital Insured/Health Insurance Individual coverage is provided for each resident. A dental insurance plan is also provided for the individual resident. D. Resident Continuing Medical Education Each resident is entitled up to one thousand seven hundred fifty dollars ($1,750) for an approved podiatric scientific meeting. The monies must be used for registration, hotel accommodations, air fare or meals. Examples of an approved meeting would be annual meeting of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Midwest podiatry Conference , Hershey Podiatric Seminar, Podiatry Institute Seminars. E. Vacations Each resident is allowed a two week vacation per year. Trips and vacations must be scheduled and approved by the Residency Training Committee. Vacations may not be scheduled form June 1 through August 30.
