Resident Responsibilities and Duties:

10. Casting and taping clinics shall also be presented to the house staff.

11. The resident is responsible and insuring completeness of hospital records on all patients on the orthopedic service.

12. The resident shall make daily rounds and shall be well informed regarding the status of all patients on the orthopedic service.

13. The resident shall consult the orthopedic responsible physician regarding therapeutic decisions.

14. The resident shall be knowledgeable in the proper application for orthopedic appliances and the maintenance of these appliances.

15. The resident will be responsible for other duties as they are determined from time to time by the Department of Orthopedics, the Medical Education Department and the Chief orthopedic resident.
